Description
Vendetta is a character for Concrete Jungle.
She has anger issues and is extremely blunt. But that's what makes her entertaining!
She uses a fighting style that's a Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai mixture, plus she can use and throw (negative) energy tomahawks, fight with knives, a spear, and create a bow and arrows out of it as well. The negative energy and rage aspect is essentially akin to a Red Lantern, for comparison's sake.
If you can't tell, she's inspired by Native American stylings (I'm part Native American, so I love referencing that in characters I create like Vendetta here).
Oh, and those spikes, those are actually very sharp teeth fastened to leather.
Though fueled by hatred, anger, and vengeance, Vendetta's tribe's powers were originally based on creating constructs by and for love, happiness, positivity, and protection.
But after they got wiped out...she distorted and took those powers in a different direction due to her reaction, and well, Vendetta.
After her tribe gets wiped out, she abandons her real name since that part of her died and sees no point in continuing on as someone who's without a family and people anymore. So she takes Vendetta as her name.
Because it encompasses her life and motivation, and until she accomplishes her goal, she deep down, in actuality, feels she needs to earn her real name back to be able to be called that ever again.
For a comparison, her tribe basically handles the power akin to Jedi and Sith. XD
Not wanting people to get angry and use the powers while in such mental state, as it could bring out the worst in someone and eat at you, ect.
Now then, I'd been workin' on this off and on for like a week.
I consulted a few friends of mine about this, making sure it looked and came across well.
I'll go ahead and give a shoutout to
for helpin' me out and offering some great advice around the end!
Going about doing something that's both a dynamic and a perspective shot like this that's stylized while stile wanting it to be anatomically accurate is challenging, I won't lie to ya. XD
